Question 1

Can I access my vehicle during storage?

Accepted Answer

Yes. While NCIS is not open to the public, you can schedule an appointment to access your vehicle. We ask for 24 hours' notice to ensure staff availability. Access outside normal hours can be arranged by appointment. You can call us anytime, 24/7.

Question 2

How secure is the facility?

Accepted Answer

Our facility has gated entry, 24/7 video surveillance, a fire sprinkler system, and a backup generator. Every vehicle is stored indoors in a locked, heated warehouse.

Question 3

Is the facility open to the public?

Accepted Answer

No. North Coast Indoor Storage is a secure warehouse accessible by appointment only. This ensures maximum security and privacy for all stored vehicles.

Question 4

How much does indoor RV storage cost?

Accepted Answer

Our pricing is simple and transparent with per-foot monthly rates. For example, a 32-foot RV costs $195.20 per month. Use our online quote form to see the price for your vehicle.

Question 5

Are there any hidden fees?

Accepted Answer

No hidden fees. Your monthly rate is the per-foot rate multiplied by your vehicle's total length. The same rate applies to RVs, boats, and trailers, and there is no minimum length.

Question 6

Do you offer seasonal storage?

Accepted Answer

Yes. We offer month-to-month storage and seasonal storage. The season runs October through May (8 months) and is paid upfront.

Question 7

What payment methods do you accept?

Accepted Answer

We accept credit cards, debit cards, and checks. Monthly storage is paid monthly. Seasonal storage is paid upfront.

Question 8

What does "heated indoor storage" mean?

Accepted Answer

Our warehouse is climate-controlled and heated throughout the winter, maintaining stable temperatures above freezing. This protects your vehicle from freeze damage, ice, snow, and extreme temperature fluctuations.

Question 9

Should I winterize my RV or boat before storage?

Accepted Answer

Yes. Even though our facility is heated, we recommend full winterization as best practice. This includes draining water systems, adding antifreeze, and preparing batteries according to manufacturer guidelines.

Question 10

How do I measure my RV for storage?

Accepted Answer

Measure from the front bumper to the rear bumper (or rear ladder if it extends beyond). Include any attached accessories like bike racks, spare tire carriers, or cargo boxes.

Question 11

How do I measure my boat for storage?

Accepted Answer

For trailered boats, measure the total length from the front of the trailer tongue to the back of the propeller or swim platform. This gives us the full linear footage needed.

Question 12

Do propane tanks need to be turned off?

Accepted Answer

Yes. For safety reasons, all propane tanks must be turned off at the valve before storage. The heated facility maintains safe temperatures without needing propane.

Question 13

What size vehicles can you accommodate?

Accepted Answer

We store RVs and boats up to 75 feet long and trailers up to 100 feet long. Our doors are 14' x 14'. If you're unsure whether your vehicle will fit, contact us with your dimensions.

Question 14

What types of vehicles can I store?

Accepted Answer

We store RVs, boats, trailers, classic and collector cars, everyday automobiles, work trucks, jet skis and personal watercraft, toy haulers, and motorcycles, all indoors in our heated warehouse.

Question 15

How far in advance should I book?

Accepted Answer

We recommend booking 2-4 weeks in advance, especially for peak fall storage season (September-November). However, we often have availability for immediate storage needs.

Question 16

Can I cancel my storage agreement?

Accepted Answer

Cancellation requires 30 days' written notice. Your storage agreement sets out the full terms.

Question 17

Do you provide insurance?

Accepted Answer

We maintain facility insurance, but we require all stored vehicles to carry their own comprehensive insurance coverage. Check with your insurance provider about storage coverage.
