How RV and boat storage is priced
Most facilities charge either by the length of your vehicle or by a fixed space size, on a monthly or seasonal basis. Pricing by the foot is the most precise: a 22-foot boat doesn't pay the same as a 40-foot motorhome.
We use simple per-foot pricing: your vehicle's total length × $6.10 per foot, per month. The same rate applies to RVs, boats, and trailers, with no minimum length.
What affects the cost
- Indoor or outdoor: outdoor lots generally cost the least, covered storage costs more, and heated indoor storage costs the most.
- Heated or unheated: heat protects plumbing, engines, batteries, and interiors, and usually comes at a premium.
- Length: the longer the vehicle, the more space it needs.
- Term: seasonal contracts are often priced differently from month-to-month storage.
- Security and access: gated entry, video surveillance, and scheduled access add value.
- Location: facilities close to highways and marinas are in higher demand.

Monthly vs. seasonal storage
Seasonal storage runs October through May and is paid upfront, which is ideal if you know your RV or boat will be parked all winter. Monthly storage is paid month to month and can be canceled with 30 days' written notice, which suits owners who need flexibility or year-round storage.
Measure for an accurate quote
- RVs and motorhomes: measure from the front bumper to the rear bumper, or to the ladder, bike rack, or spare tire carrier if it extends farther.
- Boats: measure from the front of the trailer tongue to the back of the propeller or swim platform.
- Trailers: measure the full length, including the tongue.
